Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Laboratory Manager, who will be responsible of the Microbiological Laboratory including 31 highly skilled employees consisting of Laboratory Technicians, Team Leaders, Microbiologists and Student Assistants.
The incumbent will be responsible for delivery of analytical results to our customers within the agreed timelines.
Further it is expected that the efficiency of the laboratory is increased to meet demand from our customers.
The responsibilities will include:
- Strong drive and positive attitude
- To ensure optimal planning and efficient implementation of the daily workflow in accordance with established quality requirements with a strong focus on compliance with delivery times
- Development of the laboratory and future business areas
- Both scientific and financial responsibility for the department
- Optimization of methods and workflows in the laboratory
- Proactive interactions with our clients on strategic and technical decisions and participations in audits
- To secure a competent department with talented employees who match the demands of the future
- To motivate, inspire and develop employees
- To contribute and secure a good work environment with high employee satisfaction
- Participate in the Management Group of the company

Qualifications
Professional Qualifications
- Educated Cand.Tech.al, Cand.Pharm., Cand. Scient. microbiology, PhD. within a related technical discipline or similar
- Minimum 5 years of microbiological experience within analysis of food or pharmaceutical products
- Management experience (minimum 3 years)
- You have a strong business understanding and used to working after KPI’s and thrive in the implementation of new projects
- Experience with working in accordance to GMP
- You have excellent communication skills and master both English and Danish
